Cheap and durable do not go together when looking for a mattress. I bought a cheap one once…lasted about a year…even though it had a 10 yr warranty…so keep all your paperwork when you buy one…without it…it's hard to get a replacement if yours goes bad. I traded it in after the second replacement within 2 yrs to a better grade mattress.
One other thing to do…buy a good mattress protector ….because a blood spot will void a warranty.

Depends what you mean by cheap…..I've been using high density foam for many years, you can get it at places that sell foam only. You can choose density and thickness to suit you. I find it much more comfortable than all but the very best mattresses. It's much cheaper than conventional mattresses, and you should get ten years' use, at least, out of the foam.
