I'm thinking about buying a cheap Ikea bed, but getting a memory foam mattress pad. Good idea?
cheap memory foam mattresses January 30th, 2009I'm looking at a frame that's $100, a mattress thats 150, then 100 for a mattress pad. It seems cheaper than getting a traditional bed, looks nice, but I'm wondering how comfortable it will be. I figure with the mattress pad it should be pretty solid. Any advice.
We have the same setup in my daughter's room and it has worked out very well. Have a foam mattress and traditional bed frame in my own.The foam can be hot, but for me, the comfort outweighs the heat problem. I have felt more rested, no back problems and have not been disturbed by the movements of my wife during a restless night.
