where can I get a cheap memory foam mattress foundation ONLY Queen?
cheap foam mattresses November 23rd, 2008I purchased a memory foam mattress at Costco; it doesn’t come with a foundation. I’ve been using an old queen box spring, however the height of the mattress plus the 4″ topper, and 10″ box spring, blocks the attractive headboard I purchased. I bought the slat kit from Ikea, but that failed since my bed frame only has 3 slat for the Ikea ones to rest on. Do ya understand what I’m trying to say?
Most box springs are bogus, they are just for height. You can try putting plywood down. Measure the size you need and get the hardware store to cut it for you. Tell them your situation and they can tell you how thick of plywood you need. I hope it won’t be too low. The hardware store might have some better ideas if you need more height.
